The fifth FIRMS Network conference will be held in September, 2013 at
Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM),

The conference will be a global forum for the discussion of all aspects of forensic isotope ratio analysis (light, radiogenic and non-traditional).


We are currently soliciting presentations. Preferred themes include:

  • Case studies
  • Trafficking in exotic animals and animal products
  • Food sourcing for health, safety and authenticity
  • Human tissue provenance
  • Physiological studies
  • Trace element analyses
  • Contraband materials (counterfeits,
    narcotics, explosives)
  • Technical innovations

Note: other topics will be considered.
