The Forensic Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (FIRMS) Network

The FIRMS Network seeks to develop the scope of stable isotope techniques in forensic applications. Our aim is to raise awareness of the current potential of IRMS in forensic science, crime detection and reduction, within the forensic community.

We also aim to bring together chemists, physicists, materials scientists and life scientists who employ IRMS in their own fields, thereby focusing their knowledge and expertise on crime detection and reduction.

The next conference is to be held in Washington DC on the 12, 13 and 14 April 2010 hosted by the FBI.
